I play a variety of instruments and have written at least 500 songs in the genre of folk, blues, rock, country, Americana. Lots of acoustic and recording experience. I am looking to continue that as a duo, trio, or full band. I also have a passion to pursue a more electric rock/blues band format with some jazz or country influences. I am a solid rhythm player and pretty decent on lead and some slide. I’m glad to be a side man for you or lead songs. I collect guitars and am quite good on blues harp and decent on banjo, uke, and mandolin. St Pete is my main home but also have a home north of Atlanta part time. I’m glad to learn your originals but would like some of mine to be in the mix also. I can be found on , Reverbnation, be, and major streaming services under Joe Carter Green. I know how to be a band mate and I don't noodle between songs at practice or gigs. I understand volume and creative dynamics.

Influences
Too many to remember but I lean toward crusty originals more than today’s pop. I am influenced by guitar hero’s like Clapton, J Beck, R.Gallager, D. Allman, SRV, Freddie King, John Mayer, Leo Kotkee, Hendrix, etc. I love songwriting style by JJ Cale, Dylan, Tom Petty, John Prine, REM, Beatles, Elvis Costello, Graham Parker, Dave Edmunds, Lucinda Williams and many more. Even Peter Paul and Mary and Johnny Cash.
