I've been a bassist/vocalist for more than forty years. I read and transcribe sheet music. Advanced knowledge of music theory. I played acoustic bass in numerous jazz ensembles and big bands in the 80's and 90's. I've worked as a sideman playing 4-string electric bass backing national acts including Stephen Bishop, Lou Christie, Elliot Lurie (Looking Glass), The Flamingos, Gene Chandler, The Tokens, The Crests, Freddy Cannon, as well as various members of The Temptations, The Platters, The Drifters, The Buckinghams, Herman's Hermits, and Paul Revere and the Raiders. Sorry, but I don't slap or play 5-string.
