ABOUT

Joel Brian Thomas is a singer and songwriter born in Baltimore. Being the oldest sibling of two, Joel was often inspired to sing at his church on youth Sundays by his mother. He has scored films such as Blessing In The Storm, The Cat Faced Cat (in production), created theme songs for The Cat Faced Cat (in production), and The Child Support Administration theme song “You Better Pay Your Child Support”). He is a passionate raising star he began writing music being inspired by a lot of old school music of artist like Michael Jackson, P Diddy, R Kelly, and JayZ.

With the completion of his first Cd titled “Dynamite”. Joel is fast on the road of promoting his music. His music is currently available on amazon, iTunes, and CD baby. Joel was often requested with his brother Charles to sing songs during church services and at other churches in Maryland. He has performed at event such as fundraisers, college events and local parties. He is an artist that music consists of R&B, Pop and Rap mainly, but he does do some rock, HipHop and Gospel. Everyone who has heard Joel is amazed by his ability to sing and encouraged him to his dream to become a Pop and R&B singer. Joel has performed at College events, Churches, Miracle Wellness Center Cancer Survivor Fundraiser, Music In The Park, Creative Chance event, Praise in the Park, Artscape in Baltimore, Maryland, and Expos. He loves to perform and the positive energy he gets from his audience.

Joel has a shy demeanor but is ignited when he performs on stage. Truly he is an artist with a unique voice. Growing up in Maryland he has strong connections to the community and the people he grew up with. Joel has received awards for his music videos from the Global Music Awards and was nominated by the Vollies 2012 Awards. His music videos have been OFFICIALLY SELECTED for Los Angeles Cinefest and Inspired Faith Film Festival. He songs have won the Beat 100 Bronze Performance Award in 2017, Beat 100 Bronze Video Award 2018.

Joel’s greatest goal is to compete on America’s Got Talent and be discovered so that he can enter the world stage with his music. He love’s people and sharing his music with the world has been his dream for a long time. Joel is a wonderful young man with a sweet gentle disposition.
