I play hip-hop and post-rock on bass and focus on syncopated rhythms on the drum kit. I'm pretty good with music theory and use it to write melodically challenging and layered bass lines. DAW? I have produced a few albums with rappers and vocalists, and I make trip-hop beats. On the drums I like working within the rhythmic complexities of classic hip-hop... playing with the timing of the back beat is fun. I play a quality jungle kit, and can also use brushes if going for a lofi sound.
