Joey Terry here. Looking for some folks to jam with. Mainly, I want to get some covers down and do some gigs, earn a little extra cash, but I do enjoy writing original material. I play guitar mostly (been playing since I was fourteen, but stopped for a while in the Army, then recently picked it back up again). I play bass as well, but not as proficiently. I mainly do rhythm guitar, but can do lead, depending on the genre (I'm not a shred god or anything). I also sing (I've been a vocalist in about 5 bands in my life), and can play guitar and do vocals, depending on the genre. I have a very broad vocal range, and can cover just about any genre that is needed. I have quite a few guitars, but do not have a PA just yet. Working on that. Influences
Influences range far and wide. I'm into a lot of classic metal, classic rock, modern rock and alternative, blues, and country western/bluegrass. I enjoy hip hop but don't really know how to rap or write beats. I'm an old soul, and a lot of the things I listen to are from the 60s-90s. I like modern stuff as well, but don't go much for the cookie-cutter pop songs of today, nor do I go much for the screamo heavy metal. As long as there is some singing I can tolerate it, but it's few and far between. Ultimately, I'll listen to about anything once, and I'm open to play any genre.
