I'm John Baldwin (contact me at johnbaldwin19550 at gee-male or by my page on book-face or camp-band), and I'm looking to play drums, bass, or sing, in a band that plays any genre ranging from rock to jazz to electronic to whatever, as long as it's good. I've been playing drums for eight years, and I have studied music throughout high school, both in school and in band classes. I've read sheet music for symphonic and jazz percussion for about eight years, and I took AP music theory and passed with a score of 5. I also have a very precisely trained ear for tonal music, and I specialize in vocal harmonies. I have been practicing vocal techniques such as vibrato and grace notes. I have been building musical instruments out of PVC pipe for nearly two years, and doing so has given me a thorough understanding of physics, as well as calibrating my sense of pitch. I can play several of these instruments fairly well (they sound like regular flutes).
