SEEKING
Band to Join.ABOUT
I'd love to find some good players to make some music with, and maybe play out every once in a while.
Regular gigging isn't as important as it once was.
I just want to get my chops back up - and keep 'em that way.
I live in Denver ( Federal & Alameda) and would prefer not too long of a drive for regular rehearsals, but for a really good jam/party/whatever there's no telling how far I'd go.
I've played most styles of music for a living, back in the 70's + 80's. Now I play for fun and a maybe little extra pocket change.
Classic Rock is my first love, but I enjoy most any band with decent vocals and smiling players. Drama + angst bores me.
I just like to play in a tight band that has fun and can put on a good show.
I used to do an occasional lead vocal and a bit of songwriting, and maybe could be talked into it again.
Call, or drop me an E-mail and let's jam.

Influences
60's,70's,80's Rock. Southern Rock.
Funky or Bluesy-Rock.
Country-Rock. Jazzy-Rock. Latin-Rock.
Anything that was top 40. R+B and Motown.
Some Progressive Rock. I even like Folk + Folk-Rock.
Some more recent bands that I like are Anthony Gomes, Los Lonely Boys, Colbie Caillat, Amos Lee, John Mayer, etc.
KBCO plays what they call "world-class rock".
I'm not sure what that means, but I really like some of it.
I'm sure I've left something out. Oh, well.
EQUIPMENT
These days I mostly carry around a small Pearl 4-pc set, but I also have a very large Yamaha chrome monstrosity, for scaring old ladies away.
Then there's the congas and numerous little percussion toys, in case Santana's out there looking for me.
Too much other gear to mention...
