Band to Join, Bass Guitar, Other Percussion.

ABOUT

I’m a 42 year old straight guitarist/singer/songwriter from New Orleans that’s highly creative with 33 years of experience (I’ve been in 10+ bands). I’m seeking a higher intermediate-advanced bass player (upright would be an awesome additive but not necessary) and also either a hand percussionist or jazz/light hitting finesse drummer for a new alternative / psychedelic / rock / world mix type project (moderate volume / not high).

Preferably someone who’s eclectic and into/or interested in Spirituality / Eastern thought (Meditation ideally) /Higher Consciousness and in the 30-55 age range. Not interested in anyone who drinks excessively or into drugs. Someone who's mindful, balanced and easy going with a good sense of humor. You: have other things going on, this is not your end all but it’s still an important part of you.

Looking to practice typically 1x a week on the weekend for about 2 hours and gig out 1x about every month or every other month at select gigs.

Sort of going for a contemporary style version of The Doors, Hendrix, & Pink Floyd mixed with new touches (such as Thievery Corporation, Massive Attack, Tommy Guerrero, etc.). Also incorporating the Native American flute and spoken word/ poetry for a few songs. May include a few guest exotic instrumentalists (array mbira, didgeridoo, etc.) to sit in on occasion.
