I am looking for musicians to play for my improvisational movement workshop. As opposed to a musical "performance", your role hear will be to support improvisational dancers in a structured and facilitated 2 hour workshop. As for they type of music, the closest category would probably be "meditation". Trance state inducing drone music, typically produced with didgeridoo or a sustained keyboard chord, a monochord, or a flute will make up a portion of the workshop. Simple percussion instruments like hang drum, frame drum, and bead gourds work well. I will need to work with you for a short time as a sort of rehearsal before the gig. I am on as John Roff.
