ABOUT

Hello there and positive vibes to all musicians who make this world the wonderful place to be that it is! I say this because I mean it from the bottom of my heart as music has had an impact on my life that I cannot describe but it's one that has felt the pain of loss and trauma that ultimately lead me back to music after giving up on it 30 years ago. Over the past year I have spent hundreds of hours (if not more) recommitting myself in order to pursue my passion which lies deep within me and am now proud to say that I am a unique and powerful singer who can literally almost reproduce any voice in a smooth and yet powerful way, thanks largely to my voice coach who is a professional opera singer. I say this not to brag but because I work hard to get things right and when it comes to music, the better the quality the greater the experience for the listener which is what music is all about. I am to the point of being ready to work with other committed and talented musicians to practice, jam, record, have fun, and, hopefully, WOW people with what we create. I am into all types of music including oldies from the 50's and 60's which I grew up on (I love the Everly Brothers, Elvis, and, Johnny Cash) to classic rock and heavy metal (Kiss was my favorite band growing up before I graduated to The Crew, The Cult, and Tesla), and, finally country, southern rock (I love Whiskey Myers), and even some bluegrass. I also love singing soulful lounge music and can reproduce Chris Isaak and even George Michael on some songs. I love to play guitar as well but my experience level there is still a work in progress as I spend most of my time honing in on my vocals so I am really mostly looking for other musicians who really want a quality singer to work with.

Influences

As mentioned, 50's and 60's rock, classic rock from the 70's, 80's hair metal, and modern country and southern rock. Whiskey Myers, Garth Brooks, and Brooks and Dunn are all good matches for my natural voice as is Chris Isaak.
