ABOUT

Metal/hard rock/psychedelic/indie/folk/ambient (because genres are tools) lead and rhythm guitarist, with decades of playing (off & on) seeking singer, bass, & drums to form band, or to join an already-established band. Covers are fine for warm-ups and getting the hang of each team member's abilities, but I'd like to (sooner rather than later) make original music.

Playing style has been compared to Megadeth meets Pink Floyd meets Type O Negative meets early U2 meets Black Sabbath meets Nightwish meets The Grateful Dead meets The Chieftains. Can easily switch between rhythm & lead. Standard and dropped tuning. Looking to jam a couple/few nights a week and see where it goes, and I'm flexible with people's time available to commit to jamming/rehearsing. Have all necessary equipment to compose and jam: Multiple guitars, amps, FX, and mixers.

My years have taught me how to get along with all sorts of people, how to be a disciplined team player, how to focus on the task at hand, and how to get my ego out of everyone's way. I'm not trying to hog the spotlight.

BONUS! Bagpiper as well, with concert-pitch warpipes (acoustic and electronic) and smallpipes, along with Irish whistle, should that possiblity grab your attention.

BTW: Happily-married and drug-and-alcohol free. Music = LIFE

(P.S.: I have a service dog. While those suffering dog allergies have my sympathy, his presence is non-negotiable, just so we're clear at the outset.)
