Band to Join, Lead Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drums, Background Singer.ABOUT
Former drummer turned singer looking for writing partner(s), preferably a lead guitarist or band. Right now my main focus is on finishing a Christian metal concept album but willing to work on other other music as well. As far as performing live, Christian metal is where I'm at. But would also like to find writers of different genres to write and demo songs to see if we can shop them around. It'd be great of all this came in one person or band but open to any arrangements. Right now I'm focused on writing and recording so having your own gear and recording skills so we could do a lot of the work remotely.would be ideal. If not you could get started very cheaply and I could give you enough instruction to get a workable understanding. But I'm open to jamming then laying demos down. My home studio, as it is, cannot accommodate recording acoustic drums properly due to mics and space. Could do room mics for scratch tracks or I have electrics and a couple drum programs including Steve Slate to demo before the studio. I can write and perform drums but don't really want to play and sing unless it's just the right situation with guys who can keep the show visually interesting without a mobile front man. Would consider playing drums only for the right band. I'm not a great guitar player or bass player. Just good enough to put ideas down for a real guitar player. I'm a serviceable hobby sound engineer with a great ear for mixing. I'm a strong lyricist and have good sense of melody and arrangement. At least in my own mind. lol But seriously, I think I bring a decent contribution to the creative table and really want to find the other piece or pieces that make something truly great. Not trying to go back on the road. Just record and play gig every once in a while unless I'm called to do more.

EQUIPMENT
My drums are a nice Yamaha centered 7 piece on a rack with a tasty selection of Meinl cymbals. Aliesis D-10 6 piece electric kit, Guitars: Schecter Hellraiser Hybrid, 7 string Ibanez. Basses: Schecter C4 GT, 5 string Ibanez. Artuiria Keylab 61 MkII keyboard/control bank. I use Studio One 5 with Sphere as my main DAW and Cubasis 3 on an iPad for remote recording.
