ABOUT

I'm available most anytime for gigs as a fill in drummer, as long as I can get a set list a week in advance. Willing to play most any type of music in a live or recording session.

My main focus is to really compliment the music I play. I'm not nearly the most technical of drummer out there, but know exactly what I'm doing and how to get the best out of each song.

My hard hitting style can be traced back to my love for John Bonham's work with Led Zeppelin. I like to take a very straight drum part and spice it up a little bit by adding small nuances. So, even when I'm trying to come up with a simple drum part to compliment a song, thinking outside of the box can make a huge difference to the overall feel and sound of a song, while keeping it simple.

Drums as an instrument have balance that carries over into my everyday world. The drums can be violent and aggressive, yet they can be part of something very peaceful and beautiful at the same time.

Another cool thing about the drums is that I love all things that are extreme and individualized. Playing drums is both.
