ABOUT

I'm a Southlake resident who's played electric bass guitar on and off (multiple bands here-and-there) for 40 years, and can do some back-up singing. Recently (last 3 years) in a well-formed rock-blues-R&B band, doing mostly originals. We did some recording, and played local gigs, once or twice a month. That band has peacefully parted ways, mainly over its direction (originals vs. covers). Right before that, handled the bass in a 12-piece corporate "house" band (sample recordings and most of the pics on this site are from that group). Still would like to sit in with folks of similar low-drama, low-ego temperament, and will do just about any "melodic" style, that is not heavy metal or rap. Love the great artists and tunes of the late 60s and early 70s: Allman Brothers, Grateful Dead, Marshall Tucker, Clapton, etc.; but also like R&B and most jazz-rooted sounds.
