I grew up playing the trumpet but was always a drummer at heart. Taught myself how to play drums and played for several years in a church band. About 12-years ago, I was invited into a group of people from around the country that gets together a couple times a year to play sometimes for fun, and sometimes for an audience. This group has been encouraging me to find a band near where I live, where I can sing and play, so I'm taking up their challenge.

Influences
I like most music from the 60's and 70's, however, I'm and 80's high school kid so I spent a lot of time watching MTV (and recording from the stereo simulcast). The play list on my phone covers the 1950's all the way up to today, so I like a little bit of everything.
