I am a guitarist and composer. I write and perform my own music. I am not a big fan of limiting myself to genres and endeavour to push creative boundaries as both a player and music writer. With that said, jazz music, as a discipline, has been an amazing tool for learning to play the guitar and for learning to hear. I'm very picky about standards and I try not to play "changes" or sound too jazzy. I strive to find and develop my own voice. I am looking for other players with whom to collaborate and explore without the limitations of a genre or historical precedent. For me, that's the most rewarding and enjoyable aspect of music.
