I've been playing drums off and on for 30+ years. No flash but definite groove :-).

technically I'm really a much better singer but not really a front man type so...... I can play and sing simultaniously (pretty diverse & difficult styles).

My "day gig" is as an audio engineer. I've engineered for MANY top name national acts (the laundy list's about as long as your arm), so I know how to conduct myself on stage and "get" the whole music artistic/business thing quite well (I've pretty much seem it all :-).

OMG: Tchaikovski, Beatles, Sinatra, Motown style R&B, Country. I love it all (OK hip hop & shred metal isn't necessarily my fav but I could probably fake it)

Usualy what ever is needed for the gig. If the pay's right, I'll rent a set of tympany (yea right :-). I own a versatile, decent/excellent Mapex/Rodgers kit with an excellent assortment of cymbals. I can throw together a decent small club PA (50 to 500 people depending on music style & volume required)
