ABOUT

I can handle a wide range of styles, but my favorite is a mix of old school metal and funk. I'm looking for players that are into a more serious level of playing than part-time. I need to play on the big stage and accomplish whatever that may entail; tour, write, improve stage presence, practice, workout, market myself...started working on vocals also. Influences

Early influences: Buddy Rich, Dickie Betts. Later influences: Eric Johnson, Rush, ... many bands and different performers of all kinds. I think we have influences we're not aware of. I know it seems crazy to list guitar players for my influences, but I love a screaming leads and I often get caught up in the guitar and barely hear the drums. Performing music is a different story.

EQUIPMENT

I use big sticks, heavy shells, heads, and cymbals. My sound has a lot of presence. I plan to add electronic sounds to the kit. You know, it's all a work in progress.
Main kit is custom with Eames shells. 16 trk digital recording-> I can work with your tracks in my studio. Other: Crown Macrotech 2400 PA amp, mics, cables.
