Hello. My name is Johnny Favourite and I perform solo on the 12 string acoustic guitar + vocals. I am a "seasoned" player. I am currently booking gigs for the 2024 season. I do mainly 60's, 70's, & 80's Folk/Folk Rock genre of music. The Beatles, The Byrds/Roger McGuinn, Bob Dylan, Cat Stevens, Ian Anderson (Jethro Tull), Neil Young, CSN & Y, Dan Fogelberg, America, Del Amitri, Justin Hayward/The Moody Blues, Leo Kottke, just to name a few of the artists I cover in my sets. I do mostly the obscure music that the 40+ over crowd has forgotten. My last set of the night I pay tribute to The Byrds/Roger McGuinn. Coffee Houses, Weddings/Memorials/Bars/Restaurants/Private Parties/Clubs/Benefits. Coffee houses are my forte because I like the relaxed atmosphere. I am negotiable(pricewise)for every gig I do in regards to length of time played and the size of the venue. I do not get exactly rich from performing, but what is most important to me is that I am having fun in what I do and if I can put a smile on your face while I am performing that sometimes is compensation to me in a sense. (I consider those my tips.) I look at every gig as if I were going to a birthday party and the present I bring is the beautiful ring and chime of my 12 string guitars.
