Johnny MacP

Band to Join, Lead Guitar.

Currently partnering with a female vocalist who plays guitar and harmonica. Putting together an act to play small venues.

Here is my set-up.

For small gigs I go with the Korg SV1 for spot-on Rhodes, Wurlitzer, Clav, Vox Continental, Farfisa and Piano sounds.

On top of that sits the smaller of my two Yamaha Motif ES machines, this one equipped with three plug in boards: PLG 150 AN is an analog synth module; PLG 150 VL is a Virtual Modeling syntn; and PLG 150 EP has all of the vintage Yamaha DX7 sounds.

For special gigs I bring along my vintage (1981) all-analog BX3 dual manual organ, run through a Boss RT 20 Leslie simulator and Boss Super Chorus.

At my home studio I have a Hammond A-100 which is exactly the same as a B3 but with the addition of an internal tube reverb unit. I also have a Yamaha Motif ES 8 with three additional plug in boards, the PLG 100 AH, the PLG 150 AP, and the PLG 150 LP.
