ABOUT

I have a really simple studio in my house (I describe it more in the equipment list section). My buddy and I are in a place where we want to be really creative and record songs and play around with styles, noises and experiment (both with the music and recording/mixing etc...).

We're basically drums and guitar (a little more than that but that sums it up).

Trying to see if there are other like minded people out there who would like fill in some gaps, have fun and maybe do some cool sh*t.

This is a creative endeavor but not a in anyway commercial one. No rock stardom. Probably no gigs (but you never know).

Anyway - thats what that is. If there's anyone who is interested or if you want to talk more about it send me a note and we can chit chat.

EQUIPMENT

The recording set-up is really simple.
We use a Focusrite Scarlett 18i 20 8 channel interface
We use Garage Band - the mixing and EQ capabilities are just really easy (I do have Ableton too - blah)
We have a couple different guitar and bass combo's laying around (we can of course go direct to the interface or live)
Not nearly enough (never enough) but we have a ton of drum and percussion instruments
I also have a Pioneer DDJ-SB2 - I just haven't spent enough time to get that integrated

We do have a PA too for practicing the songs. It's small. Two 1,000 watt active Samson speakers. Although, I did just get this kind of cool Behringer mixer. It has some pretty rad EQ and effects capabilities (not that I know how to use them just yet).
