Hi. My name is Jo. I am a rock n roll songwriter-singer and i am always looking for more talented musicians to record my songs and play shows with.
I studied composition with David Zoffer and others at NEC and I have been writing for my bands since. (JO and the MFers then Sonic Bomb then JOSEPHIN and now for my full-on solo style as Jo Madden).
My songs deal with heavy socially conscious subject but in a fun way that the audience can get into. With positive messages and an against all odds attitude they are intended to empower and uplift. Both lyrically and musically. (So lets turn it up please)!
I have chord progressions and notations for everything. And reference tracks for folks who prefer learning by ear.
This upcoming recording we're heading towards is going to be a big production of my most recent Hard-Rock anthems at Qdivision studios in Somerville with an amazing engineering crew.
We're talking a full string ensemble, brass 'n' horns, rock piano, large choruses and a strong core band.
This whole thing will be documented and later edited into a couple of music videos.
And some great shows will follow after the release date.
