I am a retired professional who now is back to music at a huge level. I have played stand up bass in the MOMM orchestra for 4 years, played a year with SD Banjo Band weekly doing a 3 hr. session weekly, as well as a 8 member cappella singing group for a year weekly,
I have played in 2 other rock groups locally in the past year or so, but am now in one weekly. Love classic rock, bluegrass, Americana folk, jazz and classical. I read music, prefer to play fretless bass and have a variety of fretless and fretted basses and a variety of amps. I have had voice lessons which greatly helped me manage singing more effectively and clearly. I continue to take lessons to enhance my bass and guitar skills.

Influences
In 1964 I was a folk fan at 14, and saved paper route money to take myself to see Kingston trio, Peter Paul and Mary at the Pasadena Civic, well they introduced Bob Dylan and I was forever changed. Growing up in LA during 64-73; I saw all the great groups at almost all the music venues in LA, Jimi at the Hollywood Bowl, Cream, Yardbirds, Grateful Dead, Janis, Zappa etc at the Shrine. I have always been a great appreciator of the troubadour style musician, Dylan, Cat Stevens, G. Lightfoot, N. Young, and others.
