An electric & explosive drummer with feel and passion, Jonathan J Brown, was born in Pennsylvania and now resides professionally in Los Angeles, California. At a young age Jonathan was struck with a passion for drumming at ten years old. He closely and meticulously studied technieces and showmanship of rock/metal giants of the 80’s-90’s-2000’s. His father introduced him to an era of music that had energy, catchy hooks, and stage presence that crafted this unique and charismatic drummer. His drumming style can be paired with drummers such as Lars Ulrich (Metallica) Tommy Lee (Motley Crue) Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater) and Matt Sorum (Guns and Roses).
His love for music and performing transformed this small town drummer to a well respected and talented member of the Los Angeles music community. He had played most of the admired stages in LA and had recorded at legendary studios. After performing, recording, and touring throughout the seven years in Los Angeles, Jonathan J Brown has made a name for himself and continues to grow his fan base. Currently session working has been his main focus, but is now seeking to join a collaborating force to tour/work with.
