My brother and I are a duo rock/ blues -all originals.I play the guitar and sing and my brother Jeff is the bass. We are currently seeking a drummer that can keep up with our slower pace (we are in no hurry) of the music as it is written and performed. I compose all the songs on music software which is scored out for all instruments including drums. The notations for the drums are not set in stone as it appears on the sheet music and heard MIDI. It is so we can keep writing without a drummer. It is a guide for the drums only. It is my intention to pay you for your "going gig rate" for each gig whatever the gig may be at the time. I am not certain if paying for rehearsals is appropriate, but surely for the gigs. Keeping rehearsals to a minimum is not unheard of. Ideally, rehearse at least two times before a show. Our band is new and we are not even out there yet. Having a drummer available from time to time as we grow with more songs is the ideal scenario as we also don't have a full schedule offer anyone. We are looking for a part time, paid drummer.
