Jordan Phoenix entered the chill scene with its inception in the early to mid-90’s. After many years of experimenting in the various chill flavors ambient, trip hop, nu jazz, and ambient house, Jordan Phoenix has found a name by blurring the lines of several very distinct styles of electronic and lo-fi music. Jordan Phoenix relies on the groove and repetition of his tracks to provide the soundtrack for everything from meditation to that special moment shared by couples. “We love the quote by Brian Eno… (the music must) accommodate many levels of listening attention without enforcing one in particular; it must be as ignorable as it is interesting.” Jordan Phoenix adds, “When the listener connects with the music… it must move their soul, take them somewhere, be it reality or be it fantasy, it must free them of their daily considerations.”
