Hi! My name is Jordan! Im 34 years old and write for my own established hard rock/ metal project. I am an accomplished guitarist, but I am a songwriter at my core! I currently write for an original project i began on my own about six years ago, that I came to call Crimson & Thorns. I play lead and rhythm guitar mainly as well as all keyboards and programming. Influences

My musical influences range all over the map. Some of my favorite bands that very obviously influence my own writing are (this is an interesting mix lol) Type O Negative, Death, Opeth, Shinedown, Black Label Society, John Petrucci, James Hatfield, Poisonblack, Sting, Over The Rhine, Tori Amos, Delian, and Rodrigo Y Gabriella just to name a few. However the list goes on and on.

EQUIPMENT

Guitars: Music Man Sterling JP60 (Old Faithful), W. Paul Custom. I run a Roland Keyboard/ Midi Controller into my studio computer. As far as amplification, I have a Bugera 6260 which is my studio AND live guitar amp, which I run through a 90's Peavy 5150 cab (w/its original Sheffield speakers)! I also have a very specific yet small pedal board which consists of my Bugera footswitch, a Line 6 Uber Metal pedal and a Digitech Synth Wah for specific lead work at the moment. Im not a huge fan of effects, but I am a huge fan of control lol!
