Influences
I enjoy playing soft rock, hard rock, alternative rock. My most recent inspiration comes from The Flaming Lips and The Smiths. My earliest inspiration came from Buddy Rich a jazz musician and self proclaimed percussionist from the 1950's, and Ringo Star a soft rock musician and the drummer of The Beatles from the 1960's.
EQUIPMENT
I have a small, light weight firstact drum kit. I know what you're thinking. There is no way you can produce great quality sound with a firstact drum kit. I've replaced all of the drum heads with Remo, Weatherking. I've dampend the drum heads to reduce ambient noise. I have Meinl, HCS cymbals. I have Mapex, Rebel cymbal stands.
