Well, for starters, I'm looking for SERIOUS musicians. I'm tired of egos and small-time attitudes.
I'm looking for a singer, drummer, bassist and a second guitarist to work with. Ideally, everyone would have songwriting and vocal abilities, but I do realize that that is a tall order. Professional equipment is a must, ages between 21 and 30. Previous recording and performance experience would be preferred. Do drug use, I don't have time to babysit people's habits. I've done it in the past, and it's not my most favorite thing ever.
I am a local audio engineer/producer, so I have access to a studio for tracking. Everyone would have to be willing to eventually help pay for a rehearsal studio. I have an enormous amount of contacts within the industry, and as stated, I was signed until recently when my last band decided to part ways with me.
I play Paul Reed Smith guitars, Marshall and Boogie amplifiers, and a rack-full of MIDI-controlled effects too long to list. I've been playing for 13 years, professionally for the last 6. I have done several albums, and have an extensive list of shows, venues and bands I have played in/at/with.
Main influences these days: Lo-Pro, Bury Your Dead, Sevendust, Dark New Day, Alter Bridge, RED among some heavier stuff. I'm looking to write active hard rock with a huge impact sonically, visually and lyrically. I'd like everyone in the band to have equal input in the writing. Drummers must be willing and able to play to a click track live, vocalists must take care of their voices.
Contact me for samples of my writing currently and in the past.
