48 year old drummer seeking North County playing situations. I’m experienced with various playing situations including: gigs, demos, recording, fill-ins and more. Ideally I’d like playing situations where the band is already formed and the songs are already written/selected. Preferably looking for a paid cover band seeking a drummer to come right-in, learn the songs and start playing.

I have a Monday-Friday career, so I’m not looking to “make it big.” But I am looking to have fun by playing music live and get people listening/dancing. I cut my teeth drumming with bands back in my hometown of L.A. and left for the quieter North County life; but I do miss playing more regularly.

I’m low-key, introverted and avoid drama and egos like the plague. I’ve always lived a clean, drug-free life and will not play with junkies/boozers. I’m prompt, responsible, easy-going and gravitate towards like-minded musicians. My passion outside music is surfing.
