Influences
Major infulence would be the Beatles. I was one of the millions of people who saw their U.S. debut on the Ed Sullivan show. Biggest musical influence was John Lennon. Loved his rhythms and wit. Played rock in my youth. I really like groups with strong vocals. Little River Band is one of my favorites.
Favorite country artist today is Gary Allen. Favorite classic country artist is Merle Haggard.
EQUIPMENT
I have a Taylor 414CE acoustic which I play thru a Roland AC60 amp. Bass is a Schecter Stilleto Deluxe 4-string whick I play thru either a Fender bassman 2-10 or Peavey 4-10 or Carvin R-600 combo amp. Epiphone Les Paul played thru either, or both, Fender solid state and Peavey tube amps. Small Kustom PA for the rehearsal room.
