Was drummer and band leader for my own band during late seventies thru 80s then played Christian for about 15 years, retired from day job now. Looking to play, spend much time practicing and working on vocals. I know hundreds of songs, I like the old and the new, whatever moves people, evokes memories or gets them up. Live music is my passion. You gotta pick the right songs for your band identity and drop the over ego, play to the song especially you drummers.

My influences are: Chaka Khan, Santana, E W F, Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood, Steely Dan, Stevie Wonder, Jeff Osbourne Jonathan Butler., Beatles, Lady Gaga, Motown. My preference in live band would be traditional and modern rock tunes, funk, chosen for popularity, musicianship and be DANCEABLE ,always have some great slow love songs and some originals...make sure your front person connects with the audience freely...establishing the connection.
