Hey everyone, my name is Josh Lumsden and I've been playing guitar for twenty years (and have dabbled with most other instruments and background vocals).

Gypsy Magnolia
My current focus is on a dynamic folk project called Gypsy Magnolia - think Crosby Stills & Nash's vocals meet Mumford & Sons' dynamics meet Goose's huge sound. We are currently interested in expanding our three piece to include keys, banjo, and percussion. We rehearse in Tyrone and Newnan about 30-45 minutes south of downtown Atlanta.

Sound Culture
I play lead guitar in Atlanta based rock-reggae band Sound Culture, which is currently on hiatus. Our sound is very dynamic, with mellow reggae grooves that crescendo into melodic choruses and triumphant guitar solos. We have played Sweetwater 420 Fest, Georgia Theatre Rooftop, The Masquerade, Smith's Olde Bar, The Vinyl, and other venues and music festivals.
