Josh Thorne is an alt-country/folk singer/guitarist with roots all over America. He built stonewalls in the hills of New England, where he was born and raised. He harvested strange fungi in the hills of Tennessee (Nashville, specifically), where he hooked up with bluegrass group, The Needhams. Playing guitar and bass with the band, he toured all over the eastern half of the U.S. He later quit the band for a stint in the navy. In his down time, Josh wrote songs in the bowels of the USS Oak Hill while sailing across two oceans and three seas. After the navy, Josh moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he plays guitar on the front porch under the stars. His performances employ a sweet acoustic guitar and Jason Lytle/Art Garfunklesque vocals. His shows are a great way to welcome the stars after a perfect prairie sunset.
