The Butcher's Blade is still currently auditioning for a new drummer! We are an old school thrash, old school death metal band from Kingsport Tn. We have 10 original songs. We have played shows and have a good fanbase already plus we have other good bands to play shows with. We need a good drummer who is laid back but still serious. Looking for someone who can play double bass and do blast beats. There are only small parts with blast in 3 out of the ten songs. If you could do more then thats a plus. So there arent alot of them but they are still a part of the music used for accents here and there. We really need someone good with grooves and good tom rolls. If you are interested go to reverbnation/thebutchersblade we have our demo up with drums. It was recorded at sonic studios in bristol so it is good quality. Its the first mix. We need someone who could learn those 3 songs that are up to start with. Not beat for beat you can add your own style into it. We need to rerecord the song Retaliation to be used in the trailer for a sci-fi action adventure novel called Def Con 9 written by Loundon Saint James that will be published soon. We have a drum set at the practice room but if you want to bring yours to try out then that is fine with us but if accepted into band must have own kit to go to shows with. We need someone comfortable with shows and studio settings. We take this band serious and need someone who will do the same.
