I've been playing guitar since 1999. I'm self-taught but have played for church a few times over the years. I have also been teaching guitar. I've tried to get a serious band together for years, but somehow it just never works out. I'm very commited and I definitely enjoy the jamming/composition process, especially with other people.

Christian contemporary, classic rock, jazz, blues, classical music, some folk. I don't like metal or punk and don't want to play it ever. Everything else, even country (though not a favorite), I am willing and able to play. I want to be in a band that has an open mind where no one says, "let's be like ___" or "I'm trying to emulate ___." I think anything goes, sound-wise. Why limit one's self???

Two electric guitars, 2 plug-in acoustics, MIDI-capable keyboard, professional microphone, some BOSS pedals, wah pedal, Fender Princeton 65-watt amp.
