I'm a 31 year old shredding guitarist that has played lead guitar for about 15 years. I've dabbled in other instruments starting with sax in elementary school and I've recently started teaching myself to sing as well but my main focus is super fast complex lead guitar. I'm looking to either start a new band to write original music or join a band doing that already. My preferences are rock/metal/punk. Influences
I practice everyday and I play a little of everything but lately I've been focused on practicing and learning Yngwie Malmsteen, Dragonforce, Guthrie Govan, Eric Johnson, Paul Gilbert, Van Halen, John Petrucci, Joe Satriani, and other great speed virtuoso guitarists. Recently I've been playing a lot of progressive metal too. I play a lot of metal but I also like playing and singing pop punk, grunge, and 90s and 2000s alternative songs.

This one is semi improvised. I wrote a bunch of the riffs for another song but I changed them and extended them as well as came up with stuff in the moment to be able to play until the end of the backing track. It starts out a little rough because it's improvised but gets much better after a minute or 2.

I made this just for fun. I wanted to hear what i sounded like doing some really fast sweeping and tapping and couldnt find a backing track that could keep up. Even though its not as coherent as the stuff with backing tracks i still think it sounds pretty cool.
