SEEKING
Band to Join, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drums, Other Percussion, Violin, Trumpet, Keyboard, Background Singer, Other, Cello.ABOUT
I was a singer in an alternative rock band in Ohio a while back. Since then I've mostly been making tracks on my own, programming electronics and laying my vocals on top. Making electronic tracks is all well and good, but I want to be in a band again. I'm looking for talented, serious-minded musicians with whom to collaborate.
I hesitate to be too specific about what I envision this project to sound like, as the sound would of course depend on the dynamic created between the people involved. But I would like there to be an electronic element, so if there are any electronic gurus out there, I'd like to hear from you -- in addition to any guitar players, drummers, violinists who play through pedals, etc.
I would also like the music to have a sharp edge to it. I don't want to get into anything one-dimensional -- my influences are all over the place, and I can spit and scream aggressively as well as write softer melodies -- but I do want this project to have a bite.
To sample my previous stuff, go to my website -- ://.joshuapringle/music/ -- and check out a track or two. There are a bunch of different songs there from various projects, but start at the top. "Official Voice of the State" is the most recent song I made, and probably the most representative of where I am musically at the moment.
If you're interested in getting in touch, send me an email, preferably with a link to samples of your own.
