Musical Background
I am a strong electric guitar lead player. Classic Rock, Rock, Swing, Jazz, Blues, pop and southern rock. I been playing and studying electric guitar for 9 years. I have studied with guitarist/teacher Dan Leonard, Navy Commodores Shawn Purcell and Johnny Cerisano. I began in bands in middle school including the Leesburg Community Church (LCC) band. In early 2018 I joined Centreville Baptist Church band where I play the lead guitar. I began studying voice lessons from Marty McCall (member of the Christian singing group First Call) which sparked an interest in writing my own music. I am currently playing in the CBC band. I also studied jazz music at the George Mason University National Jazz Workshop summer camps with jazz guitarist Shawn Purcell. In addition, I play and lead a band named "Joshua" with my father. My band Joshua has been playing for 4 years at local community events including the Leesburg First Friday and the Old Town Warrenton Father’s Day Car Show the past 3 years. I am looking for a variety of music opportunities including studio work and playing in a quality band doing covers and/or originals. My goal would be to land a gig with a national level professional artist while playing getting more experience with studio recording opportunities.
