Vocalist Josie Cutting, equally at home singing rock or country, hails from New York but ventured west a few years back and met up with guitarist Nancy Luca, fronting the Luca Band for over seven years. Now fronting Git’erDone, this self-taught rising star remembers when, as a child, she sang with a hairbrush as her microphone. She’s moved on to real microphones from which she belts pop, rock and the aforementioned country, her father having been a prime influence on her. She loves telling a story in a song and has done so all over the country to wide acceptance and acclaim.
