I've been playing most of my life and I love it. Just can't seem to get enough. If your looking for Power and Energy, I got it. Prefer to play the hard stuff, as long as it sounds good, and still enjoy playing the easy stuff, too, as long as the music is good and the tempo is smooth. I can play the odd time signatures, and am very aware of the dynamic changes that help give a composition its mood and atmosphere. Can read and write some myself, also with a good knowledge of the keyboards and music theory. Even though my expertise is in my drum kit, I consider myself a well rounded percussionist, capable of playing all styles of music.

EQUIPMENT

I have a heavy duty, natural wood 10 - piece drum kit. Two 22 inch bass drums, 16 x 18 inch floor tom, 12 and 13 inch rack toms, 6,8,10 and 12 inch concert toms, 14 x 5.5 inch chrome snare, all heavy duty stands and hardware. 22 and 21 inch ride cymbals, 17, 16, and 14 inch crash cymbals, 12 inch splash cymbal, and of course the hi - hat, with 14 inch heavy duty rock cymbals (all cymbals are zyldgians). Also have tambourines, blocks, cow bells, etc. I have two amplified stage monitors, 24 track mixing board, assorted microphones.
