LochErie is an acoustic group that plays irish/celtic folk music. We have been a 3 piece band and recently our backup vocalist who plays guitar and mandolin has left to do other things. We generally play around like county and downtown cleveland. Generally we do around 2 gigs a month but are looking to increase that if we can.

Influences
We do a variety of celtic folk music by Christy Moore, Planxty, and others of that era. We also do a number of more traditional irish tunes but we definitely are not a bar band that plays nothing but irish drinking/fighting tunes. Some of that is OK, but we tend to take the music and acoustic nature of it all pretty seriously.
