SEEKING
Band to Join, Vocalist, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Bass Guitar.ABOUT
I've been playing in local bands in the Birmingham, Alabama area since 1999. I started playing drums in the 6th grade and started taking weekly drum lessons (which I would continue to take until I graduated high school in 2002). While in school I played in every band from the wind esemble, jazz band, to marching band. Once I finished high school I went on to teach drumline for 4 years. During this time I started playing in local bands playing venues all across the Birmingham area and the southeast. My most recent band was Long Bony Arms which had moderate success in the area getting played on Birmingham Mountain Radio regularly.
I've put together a few tracks on be of myself playing some cover songs. You can find it at s://./channel/UCyA1xKDqUPAq6_sNPyopatg

Influences
I don't think you are allowed to be a drummer if you don't say Rush and the late Neil Peart were a major influence. I grew up listening to all kinds of music thanks to my father everything from Rush, Kiss, Journey, Kansas, to Bryan Adams and Queen. My focus as the drummer is to lay down a good solid beat and then stay out of the way as to not get in the way of the vocals or guitars that lead the music in that sense.
