ABOUT

I've been playing bass for 16 years, been in and filled in for a couple cover bands over those years and want to change gears into something a bit more casual. Mostly just due to my work schedule. I'm only available Saturdays for gigs and that is it. Practices, only weekends. There is no way around it, so if you want to play Fridays or can't accommodate this, keep looking. I want something stripped down, no bullsh*t, no egos, just good ol rock n roll. Or hell, just a couple people to jam with on weekends and see where it goes from there. Don't need a massive PA, huge light show or big stages to make me happy. Not saying those things aren't nice, but when you just love to play, you can take it or leave it. The type of stuff I'd want to play, anything from Sabbath to 90's alternative to punk to acoustic rock to Numetal, the list goes on. I could do country, but for the most part I'd rather not unless it's the kind that leans more to the rock side (Aldean, Brantley Gilbert and the like). Also, I'm not a blues guy. Closest I get to it is Sabbath. I could also do some lead vocals. Bush, Godsmack, HIM and bands like that is about where my vocal abilities lie. So if you're like me, a blue collar working man who just wants to have some fun a couple nights a month and maybe make a few bucks doing it then drop me a line. Also, would prefer to stick to the Barron/Chetek/Turtle Lake/Rice Lake area and jam with people around my age or older. Could make an exception to the last one though if we're on the same page.
