Styles I enjoy include groove, funk, jazz/funk, pop, rock, progressive, R&B, etc. Grew up a huge Buddy Rich and Neil Peart fan, was into progressive metal/rock, got into funk/jazz/R&B, have played rock-n-roll (from Grateful Dead/jam to classic rock to alternative and pop), and I enjoy deep grooves that support intricate melodies, exploratory improv, and straight up 3 minute pop tunes. Good music is good music.

Influences
Everyone - Grew up a huge Buddy Rich and Neil Peart fan, was into progressive metal/rock, got into funk/jazz/R&B, and since am really into Adam Deitch and Stanton Moore. Have attended many Phish shows from 1995 to present. New school jazz ala Kamasi Washington is amazing. Shows I never miss include Galactic, Lettuce, Flaming Lips, Ween, and The New Mastersounds.
For Guitar I like the Blues in Jazz masters - Wes Montgomery, Grant Green and listen to their organ playing equivalents - think Jimmy Smith "Back at the Chicken Shack" stuff.
