Vocalist, keyboardist, bassist, songwriter. I've been playing music and recording songs by myself and would like to perform with others. Being that I am currently in college, I cannot commit to music full-time (e.g. I can't tour while classes are in session). However, I am still very serious about music, and unless it comes at the expense of academics, I follow through with any and all commitments.
While I have my own sensibilities (indicated in the influences section), I am very adaptable and pick up new material quickly, being very good at playing by ear (I cannot read any form of written music). If a song featuring my instrument doesn't have a part figured out for it, though, I can easily figure one out myself. I am transgender (female-to-male) and have had no medical procedures that affect the sound of my voice (nor do I plan to in the foreseeable future); I am told that my vocals sound either feminine or gender-neutral. If you are looking for a female vocalist for reasons solely relating to how such a voice sounds, I have no problem with filling that position as long as it's accepted that my voice is female in sound only.
