BIO: Julie Kinscheck has been teaching voice students for over 20 years. She also has been gigging as a singer-guitarist since her teens, big stages and small across the US and Europe, recorded 4 CD's of original music and is known for adding inspiration and SCAT solos to many genres of music! She loves to pass on what she has learned both as a teacher and recording artist to her students. She studied at both Oberlin Conservatory and Berklee College of Music learning both Classical and contemporary techniques including SCAT singing. She later studied under renowned contemporary teachers in the rock and gospel worlds Brett Manning and Mark Baxter. More recent studies include pedagogy workshops with Ken Bozeman, Ian Howell and Chadley Ballantyne.
