I've loved singing all my life. I've never been in a band, other than a garage band for fun almost 30 yrs ago, but very experienced karaoke singer. I'm very picky about song choice, if I don't think I can do it justice I really don't want to do it. Example: If a vocalist recorded a song sung in full voice, full power, chest voice, and I can't hit the higher notes in that chest voice, and have to flip up to my head voice, I may not do it if I think the original intent/feel of the vocals will be compromised.

As a kid I sang along to Streisand, Helen Reddy, Olivia Newton John. Of course Heart, Pat Benatar, love Ronnie James Dio, Joe Lynn Turner, Don Dokken when he still could sing, Triumph, David Coverdale, Jani Lane....
