Influences

Wow .... Soooo many. I guess the top of my personal list of bassist influences includes Victor Wooten, Brian Bromberg, Christian McBride, Djordje Stijepovic, Richard Bona, Tal Wilkenfield, Oscar Pettiford, Edgar Meyer, Cucho Valdez, James Jamerson, Jaco Pastorius, Les Claypool, Rocco Prestia, and dozens more.

I also love guitarists with ability to really pull a lot out of the instrument and not just fast playing. Brian Setzer is towards the top of my list, and anyone with a ton of soul who can swing.

There’s dozens more artists and bands in every genre... From African Juju to Zydeco and everything in between. Love Jazz, Country Swing, Celtic, Klezmer, Bebop, Metal, Rockabilly, neoSoul, 20th/21st Century orchestral, Big Band, Afrocuban, Americana,... you name it, I probably dig it.
