I am a serious violinist with a variety of experience seeking serious and yes, fun musicians for weekend gigs in the South Florida area. During my high school and college years as a classical violinist, most of my experience was symphonic. Later however, I discovered my talent for improv on the fiddle. My work has been established on recordings for acoustics - Suni McGrath; R&B - Neal Harpe; studio work for Joan Baez; and many others. Lately, my music includes Celtic on fiddle, country western, R&B, acoustic, jazz, and classical. I'm seeking musicians who are players and want to work and enjoy serious gigs only. I am also a mezzo-soprano singer and have worked bands in the Georgetown, Washington, D.C. area. My harmonies and melodies are very good and I also can fill in on background guitar and piano.

Influences
Much of my early influence was classical -- three B's - Bach, Brahms, Beethoven. As much as I love the classics, my current music is due to rock -- Doobie Brothers, Queen, Led Zeplin, Alman Brothers, Eric Clapton, Jean Luc Ponty, Stephan Grappelli, Sugar Ray Harris, and others.
